What can you expect and what have we delivered?

Written by Tom Stansfield on 9th March 2022

Back in July of 2021, Tom Stansfield wrote an article on what software users can expect from WillSuite in the coming months including giving an update on what was happening at WillSuite.

The last 9 months have flown by but we wanted to assess what we promised, what we have delivered and to give another sneak peak into what users can expect next from the profession’s leading software solution.

In that article; https://willsuite.co.uk/blog/willsuite-what-can-you-expect-next, WillSuite promised the following:

  • a client facing portal,
  • more integrations with other solutions which will greatly improve the client experience,
  • expanded functionality around payments and invoicing,
  • some partnerships to help the lawyers of tomorrow; and
  • more training resources and sessions too.

We delivered on EVERY single promise.

Client Portal

The portal has been brought to us by Love Legal and is called ‘Connect’ enabling users to be able to send requests to clients from their WillSuite platform. It delivers so much more than that and has been described as a ‘game changer’ by system users. We have also attracted clients from other software providers who saw how the functionality enables better information capture and accountability. For more information on how the client portal works, check out our Connect solution here and watch our video.

Partnerships

We have worked hard on delivering a number of integrations with recognised and respected providers and are pleased to announce that users can now create Keylu accounts for their clients from within the system. More information about the Keylu partnership can be found here: https://willsuite.co.uk/blog/willsuite-announces-new-integration-with-keylu. Users can also complete AML and KYC checks on clients through an integration with LexisNexis too.

Development

The development of WillSuite is something that we is a constant for our team. User feedback has been instrumental in the leaps forward we have made and we are incredibly grateful for that. A number of users requested enhancements to our invoicing system and over the last 9 months we delivered a number of modifications and improvements. We made some small changes including being able to add VAT to specific ‘line items’ and then took it a step further enabling users to be able to add custom CRM fields to invoices. By far the biggest improvement we made was an integration with leading payment gateway Stripe enabling users to provide secure online payment links to clients. This simply means that clients can make card payments for estate planning services. Better still, it reconciles with the invoicing dashboard.

Education

Tom and the team were incredibly proud to have partnered with the University of Derby and have had our software incorporated into course syllabus helping the lawyers of tomorrow understand how drafting happens and how cases are managed (case management) in practice. More about that partnership can be found here: https://willsuite.co.uk/blog/willsuite-announce-partnership-with-the-university-of-derby

Training

Finally, WillSuite have continued with our tradition of providing a weekly training sessions for industry professionals. We have brought in some of the most experienced and thought-leading educators and delivered insightful sessions to help practitioners gain knowledge. These have been very well received. We even created a space in WillSuite for each user to record their CPD (under ‘user settings’).

What can you expect next?

Over the next 9 months we have some exciting plans. You can expect more of the same with regard to system improvements, and we are looking at more partnerships with innovative and forward thinking companies. Some of the commitments we have made are to expand on the functionality of the document commentaries, and expansion to the document library available within WillSuite.

Probate is one area where you can expect to see some development and we’re well underway with solutions. We also have plans to help practices with multiple users, consultants, advisers or solicitors with commission or billing functionality.

Finally, you can count on the fact that we’re going to be bringing in more talent to the WillSuite team. As our business has grown massively, we have expanded our development team and marketing department. We are also bringing in more customer facing support representatives to ensure that clients continue to get excellent software support.

If you would like to become part of the awesome team here at WillSuite, we would love a conversation. Just let us know what you’d bring to the table: [email protected]

If you have feedback about our software that you would like to see implemented, please speak to us. Our software has been built on this principle and we appreciate our user’s time and guidance. We will continue to listen and build you a great solution.
