6 month in my role at WillSuite (and the Love Legal Group)

I would like to start by thanking all of our clients, partners, and supporters for their ongoing support. It’s amazing how challenging times seems to bring people together.

Often when writing these blogs, it serves as a reflection of what has been achieved since joining the team at WillSuite. In short, we’ve grown the team, built on the software, developed new partnerships, provided support and training to our clients and the wider market and grown our business under challenging economic times. All in all, a great success.

To mark six months in my role, I wanted to share more information about what we are planning for 2021. In doing so, I’ll be sharing a couple of secrets about what you can expect from the team here and more importantly from the software.

Let’s start with WillSuite. As we have grown our in-house development team, we have greater capacity to develop new features within the software. We are currently building an I.D report which will enable users to do Know Your Customer Checks. This is part of an integration with Lexis Nexis and will enable you, at the click of a button, to find out if clients have CCJs, have died or gone away, or are bankrupt for example.

Over to Love Legal. Love Legal is still a name that may be unfamiliar to some, in short it’s a software solution enabling you to offer Wills and associated legal services online through your website. It’s a portal for your clients to complete their own instructions and draft their own Will. Over recent months, we have seen unprecedented demand for easily accessible online legal services, even as a lead gen tool.

Bias as I may be, I have seen a number of online tools like this during the last 18 months and Love Legal has to be the best. There are features in our system not found in other systems, the lead gen features are great and it’s helping firms to generate much needed income.

Yet, we’re not fully satisfied. We want to improve it and so, we’re going to expand what services you can offer clients (because it’s designed to sit on your website). Soon, you will be able to do I.D checks through our ‘Prove’ I.D service. A simple pay-as-you-need I.D checking service to help you verify your clients identity. Great when creating trusts, great when you’re not able to meet your clients face to face or even as part of a wider financial services offering. This is even something you could offer to your corporate partners. 

Finally, TrustSuite. This is the service used by our clients who look to provide Lifetime Trusts, Declarations of Trust, Deeds of Variation etc. to their clients. Our panel of solicitors provide these service and utilise our software to speed up service delivery. They also find us to be incredibly competitive. Over the coming months we will be automating even more services such as this to provide further cost and time effective service delivery.

In truth, I don’t want to give away all of our secrets but we have LOTS MORE planned that I cannot yet mention but make sure you stay tuned for future updates. If there is a service that you would like to see us introduce, please get in touch. We would love to hear from you.
