1 year with WillSuite

The last 12 months have been a bit of a whirlwind and I can’t believe it’s my 1 year workaversary already!


I've been introduced to coffee, the staple of any developer (apparently) and I've seen the inner workings of the developers minds.


I’ve had to learn to play table tennis and have been schooled by the pros here!


If I were to count, I would have played hundreds of games of table tennis although I’m not sure how I have found the time.


More importantly we have made some incredible steps throughout the last 12 months and the team have been amazing!


The team here at WillSuite are always looking ahead and for ways to improve the software solutions we build.


I for one think it’s important to reflect on our achievements and there have been a number of wins and results over the last 12 months.


Some of the most notable include:


  • Being Highly Commended at the British Wills and Probate Awards
  • Becoming the preferred software provider for the Institute of Professional Will Writers
  • Expanded the team with 2 new full time developers, another two marketing executives
  • We’ve launched Love Legal’s Connect - an integration with WillSuite (a client facing portal)
  • We’ve doubled social media audiences
  • We’ve given multiple work placements to university students and have presented to Lincoln University students about opportunities within our profession.


It’s been an incredible year and there are no signs of us slowing down.


The Connect Portal promises to help transform client journeys and the team are working on a couple of projects at the moment that I'm not yet allowed to mention!


I can mention all of these features that have been built into the software or integrated:


  • Advanced Case Filtering - create reports based on any CRM fields.
  • Will Customisation (headings options) - more ways to change how your Wills look.
  • KYC / AML checks. An integration with Lexis Nexis to enable you to complete Know Your Customer checks and Anti Money laundering checks.
  • Invoicing - Stripe integration for secure online payments through a client portal. Send invoices and receive card payments
  • SMS marketing functionality with credit management. Improve your branding and awareness with tailored SMS communications.
  • Print, Bind and Send - Let us be your back office. We can print, bind and send documents to you or your clients.


From a business perspective it’s also hard to ignore the number of new clients that have come on board. We’re supporting even more clients than ever before and providing tailored training and support to each. We’ve got large multi-office law firms as well as sole practitioners, each with their own requirements and challenges and we help them to tailor the system to suit their needs.


There are doubtless things that I will have forgotten to mention here but I’m delighted at how the team are getting on and we will have some exciting announcements coming out in the near future.


As expected though, I’m living the dream!
